LO3.1: Shot log

 

The classroom shots have changed from the storyboard as we needed to change location from one classroom to another. For example, the storyboard shows the first shot of Mac entering the classroom as a medium shot but we actually filmed it as an over the shoulder shot as it looked better in that location.

We also, filmed more wide shots compared to the storyboards as that allowed us to say multiple lines in a shot therefore making the continuity look better and the film not as cut up. In the storyboard, we have some background actors who randomly disappeared in our sample footage which didn’t make sense therefore meaning it was better to re shoot this scene so it looked more professional.
