LO4: Present and gain feedback on our short film

We screen tested our film to a classroom of 10 people and sent them a survey to complete on survey monkey after watching our short film. We asked these questions to gain feedback on our Unit 5 short film.

This showcased to us that our audience enjoyed watching our film as 100% of them selected 'Yes'

We asked our audience what were the strengths of our film and the majority of responses said that the comedy aspect was which is great for us as our short film was a comedy.

We also asked our audience what we need to do to improve and we gained a mixture of responses for example some were saying we need to improve the continuity, some said we need adjust the audio and some said we need to film in more locations

Question 4 was asking the audience if they understood the story and the vast majority said 'Yes' as 9 out 10 understood the plot. We could potentially make the story a little clearer to make that score 100% 'Yes"

We had mixed responses to this question as some people thought our mise en scene was suitable, others not. This means we clearly have something to improve on as some people think we could have filmed in another location and lighting could be improved.

We asked for feedback on the editing and while some people had no feedback to give, some stated that we should use different transitions and add a credits scene at the end of the film instead of after the intro.

Similar to the previous question, we asked our audience for feedback on the camera work and the most common response was that some scenes were shaky but we had some very good shots in there.

We did not get much additional feedback on our film apart from a few corrections.

The final question on our survey is asking what our next steps are and we gained a variety of responses which were telling us to improve the editing to make the film smoother, make the editing sound clearer and add a few more scenes to make the film longer
